Following his international adventures in Istanbul, Paris, and Belgrade, Stefan Alexander made his triumphant return to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2018, founding Stefan Alexander Interiors. His repertoire encompasses a broad spectrum of projects ranging from interior design and residential architecture to hotels, restaurants, and illustration work for books. Rooted in classical training, Stefan's signature style marries restraint with unexpected theatricality, embodying a fusion of disciplined precision, collaborative synergy, meticulous foresight, and a touch of whimsical humor.

There's a big difference between designing a space and decorating one. It's not about which is better; it's about harmony. Great interiors and architecture should dance together, reflecting a client's lifestyle and vision: furniture echoing the architect's lines, and the architect's design grooving with the interior designer's flair. Situated on a steep lakeside site, the home is designed to revolve around family life, capturing dramatic lake views and cleverly utilizing the terrain to accommodate a robust program within a compact footprint.

We were in the throes of a Pictionary game, and when tasked with drawing 'cocktail party,' I sketched with such enthusiasm that not only did we win, but I became so captivated by my creation that I abandoned the game to perfect the drawing. While my Pictionary invitations have since dwindled, it appears my mixology prowess has earned me the honor of crafting the evening's libations.
