A very fine pair of Louis XV chairs attributed to Jean-Baptiste II Tillard Parisian Master Carpenter circa 1760. Hand-carved in moulded French Oak, these chairs have a shield shaped back with a twisted and curved arm and arm rest cuffs. The combination dice are adorned with large acanthus carvings, the belt is d-shaped and heavily chamfered, this all gracefully rests on fluted cabriole legs. 

Chairs each approxometly 40 1/2"h x 37"w x 25"d.
